Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our elementary education team for the period of July 29, 2025 to October 3, 2025. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering individualized instructional plans for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring adherence to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and working with an Instructional Assistant to ensure student’s needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
?      Instructional Planning: Assess students' abilities and design tailored teaching plans that align with their IEPs.?
?      Curriculum Adaptation: Modify general education curriculum and materials to accommodate the diverse learning styles and needs of students.?
?      Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and document student performance, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary to promote academic growth.?
?      Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to coordinate educational efforts and share insights on student progress.
?      Behavioral Support: Implement classroom management techniques and interventions to foster a positive and productive learning environment.??
