    City of Shelbyville 2025 Free Summer Concert Series Presented by Runnebohm Construction  At Blue River Memorial Park Announced Yacht

    Rock, 70s Anthems, 80s Hard Rock, and more all summer long!

    SHELBYVILLE, IND. (Feb. 14, 2025) – The City of Shelbyville and Shelbyville Parks and Recreation with Runnebohm Construction are proud to announce four free admission special concerts this summer that will take place at the Blue River Memorial Park (725 Lee Boulevard Shelbyville, IN 46176): Monsters of Yacht, Turn the Page (Bob Seger Tribute), Crush (Bon Jovi Tribute), The Four Horsemen (Metallica Tribute). Thanks to the generosity of several community partners, including Shelby County Tourism and Visitor’s Bureau, Horseshoe Indianapolis, Plymate, Knauf, Carpenter Realtors, and MIBOR. Each show will feature a local opening act and begin at 7:00 p.m.

    All four shows are family-friendly and free to the public, perfect for date nights, family outings, or time with friends. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets each evening.

    “We’re already thinking about the best time of the year in Shelbyville,” said Trisha Director of Shelbyville Parks & Recreation. “Our summer concerts are an important part of what we do for the community, a tradition we’re honored and excited to keep bringing back better than ever each year.”

    Friday, June 27, 2025 – Monsters of Yacht

    Monsters of Yacht from Nashville, TN is America’s premier tribute to the Yacht Rock Genre. This fast-growing band has planted its flag firmly into the look and sound of smooth music from the 70’s to the early 80’s.  Monsters of Yacht delivers rocking recreations of songs from artists like Christopher Cross, Doobie Brothers, TOTO, Robbie Dupree, Player, Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Boz Scaggs, and more.   


    Friday, July 18, 2025 – Turn the Page (Bob Seger Tribute)
    Turn the Page - a Tribute to Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band faithfully recreates all the "Classic" Bob Seger material including "Old Time Rock and Roll,” “Night Moves,” “Against The Wind,” and of course "Turn the Page.” They have been featured on CNBC News as one of the Nation’s Top Tribute Bands. Turn The Page was also featured on the "World's Greatest Tribute Bands" on AXS TV. 


    Friday, August 15, 2025 – Crush (Bon Jovi Tribute)
