• Accounts Manager

    Responsibilities:

    Maintain records for audit
    Manage Accounts Payable
    Produce monthly ledger and accounting reports
    Produce Annual Financial Report
    File bookkeeping records
    Follow & maintain records with Retention Schedule
    Produce monthly Board financial reports
    Reconcile books monthly
    Reviewing & maintaining service contracts
    Work with vendors
    Ensure compliance with state standards
    Maintain office security
    Assist with Payroll as needed

    Required Skills:
    Knowledge of, or willing to learn, State Accounting & Compliance Guidelines
    Computer skills - including word processing & spreadsheets
    Knowledge of accounting principles
    Good judgement & attention to detail
    Able to work under stressful conditions
    Reliable transportation & attendance
    Good listening, speaking, & writing skills

    Other Responsibilities/Skills
    Having knowledge of, and adhering to, all SCPL policies, including those of Evergreen Indiana
    Attending all required meetings and trainings
    Filling in for staff as needed
    Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s degree preferred
    Three (3) or more years experience in office management/finances preferred
    Certification or knowledge in accounting preferred
